Booker will combine its retail sales teams under a single structure, led by Martyn Parkinson as director of sales for retail

Booker is restructuring its retail senior leadership team in a bid to strengthen support for independent retailers across its symbol estate.

The wholesale giant, which owns Budgens, Premier, Londis and Family Shopper, will combine its retail sales teams under a single structure, led by Martyn Parkinson as director of sales for retail.

Parkinson was previously sales director for Booker’s Premier and Family Shopper symbol groups.

Stewart Fenn, who was sales director for Londis and Budgens, will now be responsible for “setting, shaping and evolving the end‑to‑end customer proposition” across all Booker’s symbol groups.

He will also take overall responsibility for the wholesaler’s forecourt offer, covering regional, independent and national accounts, in his new role as director of forecourt sales & customer proposition for retail.
