BeatBox RTDs launching in the UK by Red Star Brands

BeatBox’s RTDs come packaged in a 330ml resealable Tetra Pak carton

US ready-to-drink sensation BeatBox has landed in the UK thanks to a distribution deal with Four Loko supplier Red Star Brands.

Blue Razzberry, Juicy Mango, Orange Blast and Fruit Punch have launched in 700 Morrisons stores. They come packaged in a 330ml resealable Tetra Pak carton (rsp: £3.29).

BeatBox’s RTDs are billed as “flavoured wine beverage made by blending a neutral wine base with bold fruity flavours”.

The B Corp-certified brand was founded in the US in 2012 and in 2014 recured the largest ever investment in the history of Shark Tank, the US equivalent of Dragons’ Den.

Its founders secured backing from a billionaire tech mogul Mark Cuban, who invested $1m in the brand.

Today, BeatBox is the bestselling single container RTD in US convenience outlets, and is sold in 130,000 retail locations across all 50 US states.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing BeatBox, one of the fastest-growing ready-to-drink beverages in the United States, to the UK,” said Ryan McCann, director at Red Star Brands. “BeatBox delivers big bold flavours without carbonation, gluten or sugar overload, making it a go-to for those of drinking age who want more than just alcohol.

“Its launch into Morrisons represents a significant shift in the RTD category as supermarkets recognise the opportunity to grow the category with truly innovative brands.”

The launch would be supported instore with both PoS material and FSDUs, alongside influencer activity, sampling and festival activations next year, Red Star Brands added.
