The promotional events will feature exclusive deals and new product launches

Booker is launching two major alcohol promotions to boost sales for symbol retailers over the spring season.

Available across its Premier, Londis, Budgens and Family Shopper estates, the promotional events will feature exclusive deals and new product launches.

One of them, called the Wine Festival, will showcase a curated selection of top-selling wines in stores, including brands such as La Vieille Ferme, I Heart Prosecco, Andrew Peace and Wairau Cove, along with NPD and expanded ranges.

Retailers will benefit from exclusive promotions, discounted multipacks and strong margins, helping them maximise sales during the event, the wholesale giant said. It will run from 28 April for three weeks.

It added that with around 170 lines available, it would also drive sales and value through its Mega Deals campaign.

Its second promotional event, the Beer and Cider Festival, will offer a shoppers a selection of beers and ciders, including Peroni, Stella Artois, Corona, Leffe, Strongbow, Kopparberg, and Thatchers.

Running from 19 May for two months, it will feature special deals across a variety of premium beverages, with multipack bundles for brands like Cruzcampo, Heineken, Madrí, San Miguel, and 1664 Bière.

Premier and Family Shopper retailers will offer over 200 lines across lager, ale, craft, cider, and premium drinks, including regional brands, also backed by Booker’s “footfall-driving” Mega Deals campaign.

Booker said both promotional events were designed to cater to “all tastes”. Retailers will also receive promotional support, including additional leaflets highlighting the best deals and products.

“We’re excited to bring both the Wine and Beer & Cider Festivals to our symbol group stores, offering consumers fantastic selections of wines and beverages at great prices,” said Booker Retail MD Colm Johnson.

“These events are a great opportunity for retailers to offer exclusive deals, boost sales, and introduce consumers to new favourites.”
