Häagen-Dazs has added a stick format for its ice creams.
Five “fan favourite flavours” are now available as ‘Stickbars’, each coated in “extra thick” Belgian chocolate.
Salted Caramel, Cookies & Cream and Macadamia Nut Brittle are enrobed in coated in milk chocolate, while Mango & Passionfruit and Raspberry & Peach – combining ice cream and sorbet – are coated in white chocolate.
Multipacks (rsp: £4.25/3x68g) have already rolled into major supermarkets, with single 68g sticks to follow in April.
Macadamia Nut Brittle is exclusive to Co-op, while Raspberry & Peach is exclusive to Tesco.
“After lots of hard work behind the scenes – from extensive consumer testing, to working hand-in-hand with them to perfect our recipe – we’re over the moon to kick off 2025 with one of our biggest launches to date,” said Häagen-Dazs UK head of brand Nicole Whelan.
The launch is being backed by “a significant, six-figure campaign investment”.
It comes after Häagen-Dazs added a snacking format, Bites, last January.
Bites debuted with two variants: Salted Caramel and Chocolate (rsp: £4/8x15g).
Stickbars are the latest launch in a slew of ice cream NPD to hit supermarket freezers this month.
Ben & Jerry’s expanded its Sundae range with Brookies & Cream and revived its discontinued Bohemian Raspberry tub, with a vegan recipe.
Froneri expanded its Cadbury ice cream range with three products: Crunchie tub, Dairy Milk Mint sticks and Dairy Milk Minis.
