JW Filshill has appointed Laura Price as its new regional development manager for north-east England.
Price joins the Scottish wholesaler from licensed toy manufacturer Rainbow Designs, and previously worked for companies including Camelot and Red Bull.
In her new role, Price will report into Filshill sales manager for the west of Scotland and northern England territories, Shirley Ruane, and will play a key role in building the wholesaler’s KeyStore estate across north-east England.
“In recent years, we have built strong momentum for the KeyStore brand south of the border and Laura’s appointment will strengthen our business support team as we work to recruit new customers to the KeyStore brand and increase their profitability while enabling them to retain retailer flexibility," said Filshill chief sales and marketing officer Craig Brown.
“Laura is highly experienced, enthusiastic and very much a people-oriented person – exactly the sort of individual who can engage well with our customers and colleagues."
Price said: “One of the things that attracted me to Filshill is that it is a family business with a reputation for investing in its people.
“I can see how all the teams work closely together as part of the ‘Filshill family’ and that really appealed to me because I have very strong family values too."
In March, JW Filshill appointed former Ferrero Rocher retail development manager Estelle Balfour as a regional development manager to service the company's KeyStore symbol estate across Ayrshire, Stranraer and Dumfries.
