Fortnum & Mason is to open two new airport locations at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3, marking a “significant milestone” in the retailer’s growth strategy.
The new Terminal 2 store, which opened today (5 November), will offer a curated selection of Fortnum & Mason products, including teas, biscuits, confectionery, and hampers.
It will also offer seasonal collections and tasting opportunities, while there will be a dedicated service area for personalisation and in-store ordering.
In Terminal 3, the luxury department store will introduce a new bar. It will serve Champagne, cocktails and “a host of Fortnum’s favourites”, the brand said.
The openings build on the retailer’s longstanding presence in Heathrow Terminal 5, where it operates a restaurant and a bar, which was recently extended due to customer demand.
“For centuries, Fortnum & Mason has been synonymous with travel, discovery and adventure, making Heathrow a natural home for our brand,” said Fortnum & Mason CEO Tom Athron.
“These new openings represent an important milestone in our growth strategy, allowing us to reach millions of international and domestic travellers each year and introduce new audiences to the world of Fortnum’s.
“Heathrow is much more than a retail location for us,” he added. “It is a powerful gateway to the brand, creating opportunities for customers to discover our products, experience our hospitality and build a lasting connection with Fortnum’s, whether that’s at Heathrow, in Piccadilly or online.”
