The business saw revenue increase to £2.7bn in the period, with operating profit up to £74m

Müller UK & Ireland has doubled its operating profits to £70.7m despite a challenging year for the dairy sector.

The business saw revenue increase to £2.7bn in the period, with operating profit up to £74m in the year to 31 December 2025.

Costs at the company stayed almost flat year on year at £2.1bn compared with £1.9bn in the year before.

It is the first full year of company accounts since the company acquired Biotiful Dairy, an acquisition which the business said would allow it to branch into the gut health market. In the year just before its acquisition, Biotiful saw turnover increase from £32.5m in the year to 31 March 2025, with operating profit more than doubling from £2.3m to £4.8m.

The business is split into Müller Yogurts & Desserts and Müller Milk & Ingredients.

MMI saw “resilient performance in 2025 against a challenging market backdrop” due to a surplus of milk in the UK market.

The business said that growth was achieved in value added categories such as packet butter, which it said reflected “changing consumer preferences and health-led purchasing trends”.

It continued to invest in its manufacturing and supply chain network to enhance resilience, efficiency and customer service.

Meanwhile, MYD delivered “record topline sales revenue” in 2025, but operating profits and margins were lower compared to the previous year due to “significant inflationary pressures” including EPR and National Insurance increases.

Particular growth was seen in its Müller x Myprotein brand and Corners.

In the year, the business also “invested significantly” in strengthening its production capabilities and operations to enable the business to tap into global dairy consumption growth, unlock additional export opportunities and continue to drive supply chain resilience.

“This has set the business up to achieve long-term profitable growth and continue to reinvest into the UK dairy market,” the accounts outlined.
