Red Bull’s latest ‘Winter Edition’ has been unveiled as Fuji Apple & Ginger.
Red Bull Winter Edition Fuji Apple & Ginger Sugar Free is available now in 355ml (rsp: £2.20) and 473ml single can and 4x250ml multipack (rsp: £5) formats, as well as full-sugar 250ml cans.
To drive trial, Red Bull is also introducing a £1 PMP can of the new Red Bull Winter Edition as a ‘when it’s gone its gone’ offer.
Fuji Apple & Ginger combined “one of the world’s most popular apple varieties with the spiciness of earthy ginger”, according to Red Bull.
The flavour combination over-indexed positively with younger consumers under the age of 35, the supplier said, citing Vypr survey data.
Fuji Apple & Ginger is the third Red Bull Winter Edition. It replaces last year’s Winter Edition Iced Vanilla Berry.
Iced Berry had been “effective at bringing shoppers into store at a key time to drive sales, demonstrating the additional sales opportunity presented by limited edition and seasonal products around at Christmas”, Red Bull said.
Editions were “a vital driver of category growth, recruiting more new shoppers year on year”, the supplier added.
Red Bull remains the number one player in energy drinks in the UK, with value sales up 12.1% to £818.6m in the past year [NIQ 52 w/e 22 March 2025].
