
The Wholesale Group has launched Core Juices, the first range under its new Core own brand.
Available exclusively through The Wholesale Group’s nationwide network of independent wholesale members, the range launches with three flavours – orange, apple and cranberry.
Packed in recyclable one-litre slimline Tetra cartons, the Core Juices are ambient with an eight to nine-month shelf life to help retailers “maximise space, simplify stock management and reduce wastage,” the group said.
The apple and orange flavours are made using 100% juice from concentrate with no additives, while cranberry offers a “sharper, sweet-tart” profile.
“Core Juices has been created to give retailers exactly what they need from an everyday juice range – simplicity, consistency and confidence,” said The Wholesale Group own brand manager Richard Ellison.
“These are high-demand flavours in a practical format, designed to work hard on shelf while being easy to store, replenish and sell.”
The launch of the Core Juices range forms part of the buying group’s wider strategy to strengthen its own-brand proposition.
Last October, The Wholesale Group launched a UK-wide tour to showcase its Chef Approved own-brand range.
Members were able to learn more about its range, take part in blind taste tests, and find out more about the wider support provided by the group, including marketing and sales resources.
