Yo is to launch nine new Tesco kiosks, building on “record-breaking” sales across the sushi brand’s supermarket estate.
The latest kiosks, selected in partnership with Tesco, will open in Bristol, Ashford, Rochdale, Sudbury, Sutton Cheam, Mold, Bracknell North, Thetford, and Clowne from September onwards.
New franchise partners will receive a fully fitted Yo kiosk, comprehensive training, ongoing operational and business support, and dedicated marketing assistance.
Each new kiosk will also occupy a “prominent location”, with franchisees benefiting from “strong consumer footfall and established local catchment areas,” the brand said.
“Our Tesco kiosk network continues to go from strength to strength, with many locations achieving record sales as more consumers embrace Japanese food as part of their everyday shopping habits,” said Wonderfield Group managing director Carl Webber. “The appetite for fresh sushi has never been stronger, and these nine new openings represent another important step in our growth strategy.
“Working alongside Tesco allows us to bring the Yo experience to even more communities across the UK while creating fantastic opportunities for ambitious franchise partners. We’re excited to welcome new operators into the business and continue building on the success we’ve achieved together.”
