Yorkshire Tea has rolled its ready-to-drink iced teas into retail, following a successful out-of-home launch last year.

Single cans of Peach & Raspberry have rolled out across 300 Sainsbury’s stores (rsp: from £2/330ml), and will also be included in the retailer’s meal deal.

Peach & Raspberry and Lemon are also available as cases of 12 via Yorkshire Tea’s DTC website and on Amazon.

The iced teas are made using a bespoke tea extract made from Yorkshire Gold Loose Leaf, and natural flavours. They are vegan, gluten-free and free from artificial sweeteners.

The move into retail was a “significant next step for Yorkshire Tea into the cold drinks category”, according to the supplier.

Yorkshire Tea had switched from glass bottles to cans for the retail launch to “support wider distribution and everyday consumption”, it added.

“As more shoppers look for refreshing alternatives to traditional soft drinks, iced tea is continuing to gain momentum,” said Penny Webster, brand manager, Yorkshire Tea. “We are really proud of this product. It is properly crafted using a bespoke real tea extract with natural flavourings to create a refreshing taste.”

Yorkshire Tea is the UK’s number one brew by value and volume. Last year, the brand grew hot beverage sales by £20.8m to £192.6m, but volume growth slowed to just 1.5% [NIQ 52 w/e 27 December 2025].
