Gordon's Spritz

The spritzes have landed in Tesco stores

Gordon’s has continued to look beyond core gin for growth, adding a pair of ready-to-pour spritz serves.

It has unveiled Gordon’s Spritz in Elderflower & Citrus and Watermelon & Berry flavours. They have landed in Tesco, and will be in Sainsbury’s and Asda stores from May (rsp: £10/75cl).

The ready-to-pour spritzes combined “wine flavours” with the “botanical character of Gordon’s Gin” to create a “delicate, fruity and floral taste with a light fizz”, according to the brand.

Each bottle contained approximately five servings and would make spritzes that were “easy to enjoy and share”.

The 8.4% abv drinks were launched by the Diageo-owned brand as it looks to evolve “beyond the traditional gin category” and claim a place in “the fast-growing early evening drinks moment”.

“Spritz has become one of the most sociable drink choices, and we saw a clear opportunity for Gordon’s to bring its quality and distinctive flavour character in a way that feels effortless and easy to share,” said Tayara Sousa Linke, global head of marketing for premium core gins at Diageo. “Gordon’s Spritz is our take on a great spritz – an elegant flavour-forward, lightly fizzy drink designed for spontaneous social get-togethers.”

It comes after Gordon’s debuted two 14.7% abv gin-based liqueurs designed to be used for making spritzes last autumn.

The UK’s leading gin brand saw sales plummet by 9.4% to £271.8m last year [NIQ 52 we 6 September 2025].
