The Gluten-Free Oat Milk and Oat & Protein Milk are both made with minimal ingredients and processing

Kallø has entered the dairy alternatives category with the launch of two organic oat milks.

The Gluten-Free Oat Milk and Oat & Protein Milk are both made with minimal ingredients and processing.

The Gluten Free Oat Milk is made without oils or gums, using 100% gluten-free oats.

Meanwhile the Oat & Protein Milk contains 25g of natural plant protein per litre thanks to the soya in the product.

The brand said it was perfect for consumers seeking functional dairy-free options without artificial fortification.

“We’re looking forward to bringing Kallø’s natural and organic credentials into dairy alternatives,” said Caroline Mitchell, free-from brand controller at Ecotone UK. “It’s a category that typically appeals to a conscious consumer who cares about the planet and their personal health.”

The range (rsp: £2.30) is also unsweetened and free from preservatives, flavourings and colourings.

“Until now, the category has offered limited choice for protein in oat milks,” said Mitchell. “So we’re proud to be able to fill that gap and support consumers looking to increase their protein intake.

“We know we have two really special products packaged in our trademark joyful, creative Kallø branding and are excited to bring a truly sustainable option to the category.”

Kallø Organic Oat Milks will be produced at two of Ecotone’s own production sites, which are B Corp-certified.

They are also packaged in fully recyclable cartons.

The range will initially launch online at Amazon, and in health food stores nationwide.
