Clean energy brand Virtue has sidestepped into hydration, adding a trio of zero-sugar sachets.
Available in Lemon Lime, Strawberry Lemonade and Mango Passionfruit flavours, they have rolled out across national convenience store and forecourt retailers (rsp: £1.50/each).
The sachets featured “a clean ingredient deck including Himalayan pink salt and marine-sourced magnesium and calcium” and contained 2,540mg of “all six essential electrolytes, plus added immunity support”, according to the brand.
“We are really excited to level up hydration with a product range that can enhance your daily routine,” said Virtue founder Rahi Daneshmand. “Each sachet delivers the full electrolyte spectrum with 6.5 times more electrolytes than the leading tablet yet contains zero sugar, zero calories and a clean formula. It is a simple tear and pour ritual to help you feel, hydrate and perform better.”
The launch will be supported by a high-reach social media campaign together with high-profile investors and professional footballers Eberechi Eze and Chris Smalling.
Virtue Drinks claims to be one of the UK’s fastest-selling clean energy drinks and has raised more than £5m from investors including Eze, Smalling and former BrewDog boss James Watt since launching in 2016.
The latest raise, which closed in November 2024, saw Eze and Watt commit funds as part of a £2m injection to support strategic marketing, global distribution, and hiring efforts.
Virtue Drinks’ energy drinks are sold in retailers including in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons, Whole Foods Market and Ocado.
