KPop Demon Hunters Frubes

Launching in all major retailers from 15 August, and for a limited time only, characters Rumi, Zoey, Mira and Jinu will be featured on all Frubes packs

Yoplait has unveiled a partnership with Netflix smash-hit film KPop Demon Hunters, with products set to hit shelves in the back-to-school period.

Launching in all major retailers from 15 August, and for a limited time only, characters Rumi, Zoey, Mira and Jinu will be featured on all Frubes packs (rsp: £2.25/9x37g).

Yoplait said each tube would be designed around a different character and include fun facts, with collectable cards on the back of packs.

It added that a “special prize awaits the lucky fans who find Derpy Tiger”.

“The most popular movie on Netflix is joining forces with the number-one brand in kid’s yoghurt,” said Yoplait UK general manager Antoine Hours. “We’re confident that our KPop Demon Hunters range will resonate with kids and families, and drive excitement in the yoghurt and dessert category across stores in the UK.”

KPop Demon Hunters Chocolate Desserts (rsp: £2/4x100g) will also be launching into Tesco, Iceland and Morrisons from 9 September. The HFSS-compliant SKU is made with nearly 80% whole milk and Fairtrade-certified cocoa.

Additionally, KPop Demon Hunters Super Star Strawberry Flavour Drinking Yogurt (rsp: £2.50/4x180g) will be available in Tesco and Iceland from 14 September. Each bottle has a different design featuring one of the characters.

“As with our existing kids’ range, the new KPop Demon Hunters range of products are also fortified with calcium and vitamin D, supporting our ambition to bring new shoppers into the category while helping families grow healthy bones through enriched dairy consumption,” Hours continued.

He added: “Back-to-school is the biggest moment in the year for kids’ yoghurts and being able to bring the phenomenon that is KPop Demon Hunters to lunchboxes, snack and dinner time is going to get playgrounds buzzing.”
