Onken has launched into kids’ yoghurts with a new Onken Kiddos range made with only three ingredients.
The yoghurt (rsp: £2.25/4x90g) is made from whole milk, fruit and “just a hint” of sugar, and fortified with vitamin D to support kids’ immune systems.
The range includes two variants, Raspberry & Banana and Blueberry, Blackberry & Banana, and comes in a smooth texture with ‘no bits’.
Each 90g pot is a source of calcium and protein and contains no artificial flavours, sweeteners or unnecessary additives.
The brand said the launch would offer a “tasty and nutritious option for those seeking clean-label foods for their children”.
“More than ever, parents are looking for naturally healthy foods with minimal ingredients,” said Mathilde van Roon, head of Onken. “Onken Kiddos is our response to this shift, delivering great taste with absolute transparency.
“With only three natural ingredients and fortified with vitamin D, it’s a product that aligns with modern family values.”
The packaging is fully recyclable and highlights the quality and nutritional benefits of the SKUs. It also includes bright, playful designs featuring fruit characters in action, such as a skateboarding blueberry and a raspberry riding a bicycle to “bring excitement to kids at mealtimes”.
“We know kids want fun and exciting foods, which is why we’ve created a deliciously creamy yoghurt, with playful, vibrant packaging that makes mealtimes more enjoyable,” said van Roon.
The range will initially launch in Tesco on 3 March and be supported by a national marketing campaign including TV and out-of-home advertising, social media and in-store activities, plus sampling to drive trial and awareness.
