Svedka Vodka Svedbot

The brand’s marketing features a female robot character called Svedbot, ‘known for her confidence, wit and humour’

Sazerac is to launch its fast-growing Svedka Vodka brand in the UK exclusively with Tesco.

Bottles will land on 28 September via Tesco supermarkets, Tesco Express, One Stop and Booker Cash & Carry (rsp: £25/one litre).

The futuristic-themed vodka brand had enjoyed a “breakthrough year” in the US after making its advertising debut at the 2026 Superbowl, and was now the fastest-growing spirit brand in America, Sazerac claimed.

The brand’s marketing features a female robot character called Svedbot, “known for her confidence, wit and humour”. Sazerac bought back Svedbot after acquiring the brand from Constellation Brands in 2025.

The launch of Svedka Vodka in the UK was designed to offer “bartenders and retailers a distinctive vodka proposition with broad adult consumer appeal and a brand world designed to cut through on shelf”, said Sazerac.

“Since becoming part of the Sazerac family, the Svedka brand has enjoyed great momentum in the US, reinforcing our confidence in its appeal and potential,” said Lorenzo Farronato, European marketing director at Sazerac.

“Inspired by that success, we see a real opportunity for Svedka Vodka to inject fresh energy into the category and connect with adult consumers looking for brands that bring both substance and cultural relevance.”

The launch will be supported by an integrated PR, experiential and trade campaign centred on the UK debut of Svedbot.

Making her UK debut, the robot will feature across earned, experiential and trade activity, culminating in ‘Meet Me at the Martini’, activation around National Vodka Day on 4 October in London.

It comes after Sazerac completed the acquisition of Welsh spirits brand Au Vodka earlier this month.
