Renshaw has launched 10 new products into Tesco

Home baking supplier Renshaw has launched a raft of NPD in Tesco, in what it describes as its “biggest retail push” since being acquired by British Bakels in 2023.

The rollout spans dessert kits, fondant icing multipacks, and fruit bakery fillings, all designed to complement Tesco’s focus on “accessible, convenient home baking”, according to the supplier.

Exclusive to Tesco, the dessert kits (rsp: £3.50) come in four variants: Sicilian Lemon & Belgian White Chocolate Cheesecake (425g), Belgian White Chocolate Cookie (365g), Belgian Chocolate Mousse (345g), and Belgian Chocolate Loaded Doughnut (265g).

The Real Fruit Filling range is available in Strawberry, Blueberry, and Dark Cherry flavours (rsp: £3.50/300g), while the Fondant Icing multipacks come in Pastel, Natural, and Neon options (rsp: £3.50/5x100g). The products are available now in 664 Tesco stores.

Renshaw described the launch as a “significant step-change” for the business, signalling increased investment and momentum under British Bakels, part of the global Bakels Group. The company rescued Renshaw from administration in 2023 after a long-running turnaround attempt by previous owner Real Good Food failed.

The launch will be supported by a campaign comprising social media, retail media and in-store activations.

“This Tesco listing marks a major milestone for Renshaw and reflects the momentum we are building behind the brand,” said James Cawthorne, managing director of British Bakels. “It allows us to bring our expertise to more shoppers through a broad range of products that make baking easier, more stress free and more enjoyable.”
